Our juices

So here they are! We make most of our juices throughout the year, but some are only available in season. You can keep informed by reading our news page regularly. All our flavours are available in 1 Litre, 750ml and 250ml bottles. Apple & Co. is also BRC certified – this means that every year the British Retail Consortium tests us for hygiene and food safety.

Apple

The Netherlands’ favourite eating apple is the Elstar, and we also find this the tastiest to eat as fruit. But for an even fresher and tastier juice we blend Elstar with Jonagold and a couple of other apple types. Luckily, we can find all of these in the orchards of our fertile Flevoland region.

Apple Strawberry

Apple & Co.’s Apple Strawberry is our Summeriest juice! Sometimes called ‘Princes of Summer’ in our part of the world, strawberries really are the ‘sweeties’ of nature. The sweet summer taste of strawberries with the freshness of apples has a taste that makes us all feel good.

Apple Blackcurrant

We’d always wanted to make a red juice, so the natural choice was between Cherries and Blackcurrants. Having tried both, we couldn’t decide – both of them looked and tasted delicious. This is Apple-Blackcurrant, the other red juice from Apple & Co is Apple-Cherry.

Apple Cherry

We fancied making a red juice, so the natural choice was between Cherries and Blackcurrants. Similar colour, different tastes, but as it turned out both of them looked and tasted delicious. So we’ve decided to make both juices. This is Apple-Cherry. Apple & Co.’s other red juice is Apple-Blackcurrant.

Apple Pear

People say you can’t compare apples and pears. But they both make a great juice, which as growers of both fruits we can testify to. Mixed together you get the soft sweetness of pure pear juice with the freshness of apple juice. Hopefully you’ll agree with us, that this juice has an incomparably delicious taste.

Apple Pear Blackcurrant

These three fruits make an irresistible combination: The dark attraction of blackcurrant juice with the soft sweetness of our home-grown apples and pears. Our first attempt at a juicy threesome turned out really delicious, and lovely to behold in the glass.

Apple Rhubarb

Between the barn and the orchard there’s a small kitchen garden where Rhubarb grows. Every year. Funny how you can walk past a tasty ingredient every day and not notice it… until you do. Pressing these deep red stalks with our apples creates a unique juice with the delightful sharpness of rhubarb running through it.

Apple Orange

So far no-one has managed to create an apple-orange fruit, but a mixture of apple and orange juice can’t be that complicated, can it? Well it took us a little longer than expected to find the perfect balance between the freshness of orange and the sweetness of apple; but we made it! A deliciously healthy thirst-quencher with an extra smooth taste.

Apple Lemon

Just finished a game of beach volleyball, or maybe just a circuit at the gym? Then you’ll want a super fresh juice. Apple & Co.’s Apple juice is refreshing, but our Apple & Lemon is even fresher, and fresher still over ice. Try it – you’ll feel properly refreshed!

Pear

We grow both apples and pears in our orchard, in the Flevoland region of The Netherlands. Here our pears grow so delicious and juicy that it’s almost a sin to make juice from them. But we do it anyway, resulting in this deliciously soft and sweet pure pear juice. Pears are sensitive types, so we always add a drop of lemon juice to prevent the juice from browning.

Cranberry

Many people think Cranberries grow under water but that’s just how they are harvested – the vines actually grow in peat soil beds known as ‘bogs’. We love this crisp and healthy juice so much that we decided to bottle some on our farm – using pure Canadian juice. There’s plenty of water here in our region of Holland, but having made all that effort to reclaim dry land, we’ll stick to growing apples and pears for now.

Pear Cranberry

‘Opposites attract’ is a well-known saying, and it certainly applies to pears and cranberries – perhaps the sweetest and the sourest of fruits. This idea intrigued us, and we were delighted to find that the marriage of these two juices created a perfectly smooth, unexpectedly delicious taste.

Orange

Orange juice is the most popular of all juices, and even in a household of apple growers we’ve been known to press an orange or two for breakfast. So having a fruit press on the farm, we were soon making orange juice for the neighbours, then the whole county, and now for you too!

Summer Fruits

Every day can be a party day, and every summer day a summer party! But who to invite? Well we invited summer fruits, like pineapples, nectarines and peaches. Together with our own apples these make a delicious juice for celebrating long sunny days.
